Day 2&3

 

 

"Whoa, good morning day two is starting a little earlier than I expected. Um, well welcome.....let me get some clothes"

"That's better, now the name of the game today is fishing. I have to start building my meat stores and I am dieing to know what kind of fish I can catch in my little pond out there. So let's go!"

"okay I can see the fish out there all jumping and happy. I myself would be happier if they were in my icebox, but that is neither here nor there"

"right now I am using an unabated line jut to see what is out there. I may need some bait for this area though"

 

"And it is a big fat zero. Okay plane b commencing"

"I think they are laughing at me. Seriously they are waving at me in a mocking way"

"Yea I got a frog. Take that Kermit! You are going to be in my belly"

"I also got a catfish. so this pond is going to do for me pretty well I think"

"My frog is on fiiiiiiiya. Sometimes you just have to laugh at yourself"

"Blech, that is truly awful. Yea I am going to need some sort of seasoning next time"

"On the upside my plants are doing very well. So I am glad that I decided to sod the basement I think that is going to work out"

"You want to hear something funny? The electric comapany just sent me a bill for fifty five dollars. Yea you guys are hilarious"

"Does anyone else hear barking?'

"Oh will you look at this? It's a puppy. She cant be more than a few months old. It's not surprising people are abandoning their pets left and right these days. It's kind of hard to worry about feeding a dog when you can't even feed yourself"

"well come on inside if you don't mind left over frog legs little one"

 

 

"You and I can keep each other company. I have a feeling that is going to be hard to find in the very near future"

 

"I think that a I am going to call her Zoe"

"well Zoe its nothing fancy, just an old Tupperware bowl and a cardboard box with some blankets. But it's warm and it's dry"

"she's eating so that makes me feel a little better going to sleep tonight"

"well my plants are growing, I caught some fish in the pond and now I have a new friend. All in all a pretty good day"

"Zoe and I say good night"

Day 3

"Ha! dressed before you got here today! Well Zoe and I are both up and getting fed. She is eating quite well, and I found some old dog toys for her as well"

"I can't tell what kind of dog she is, but she's pretty cute. and she's friendly. I think we are going to get along great"

"she has found the box of dog toys. That should keep her occupied while I water the plants"

"They are getting big I am having to spend a lot of time down here but I am in a hurry this morning because I want to get the chicken coop built today. There is a farmers market in town that is selling chickens and I plan on getting a few before they all run out"

"well it took most of the day but the coop is done. I can feed these chickens from what I grow in the garden, and the eggs I can eat I an barter with and I can use as fertilizer. So this is going to be very helpful"

"This is Charles. He was thee only rooster left so I grabbed him, but I have to say I think he is secretly plotting my demise"

"Seriously don't turn your back on him, he's crazy"

"Cat fish for dinner, you an only eat so much frog. It is so quiet here. I mean Zoe is great company and I am very happy with the progress I have made so far, but I guess I am starting to get lonely. I am so isolated here and it is only going to get worse. I am going to end up like Jack Torrence in the shinning. Okay it is to quiet here ffor that kind of joking. Time for bed"

 

"There is a bit if a chill in the air tonight, and I don't know if that means that the storm is coming or not. But it is a lot more quiet then it was when I first got here. No birds. Not even any crickets. I jut have to not think about it. The storm will come soon enough and there is no point in worrying about it untill it does"
